Design Overview

According to the information we’ve gathered, the POCO X6 Pro boasts a contemporary design, powerful performance, and an array of impressive features. Can it live up to the success of its predecessors? Let’s dive into the hands-on experience with the Xiaomi POCO X6 Pro and explore its standout features!

Unboxing and Accessories

The Xiaomi POCO X6 Pro comes neatly packaged in a rectangular box with a minimalistic design. The dominant black color of the box creates a mysterious and intriguing feel. The product name, “Xiaomi POCO X6 Pro,” is prominently displayed on the top, using a contrasting yellow color that adds a touch of sophistication.

Upon unboxing, the device is meticulously packed, and the accessories include a premium shock-resistant plastic case, a 67W charging cable and adapter, and an instruction manual.

Design Evaluation

The POCO X6 Pro exhibits an eye-catching and robust design. It is available in three color variants: Poco Yellow (Yellow), Back Poco (Black), and Grey Racing (Gray). The Yellow and Black variants feature a glass back, while the Gray variant showcases a leather back.

The rear camera module, with a dark gray color, consists of four black-cut sections for camera sensors and an LED flash. The Poco branding is elegantly engraved on the hinge, resembling the design of the Redmi K70.

The front sports a flat 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole selfie camera. The aluminum frame houses the volume and power buttons on the right side, leaving the left side empty. The bottom edge accommodates the SIM tray, Type-C port, and speaker grille, while the top edge includes a secondary speaker, IR Blaster, and a secondary microphone.

Despite its slightly heavier weight compared to some competitors, the POCO X6 Pro feels comfortable and not bulky. However, it lacks an IP rating for water and dust resistance, unlike its predecessor, the POCO X5 Pro.

Apart from its appealing design, the Xiaomi POCO X6 Pro boasts impressive features, including a vibrant 6.67-inch Flow AMOLED display, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor and Mali G615 GPU. Notably, it surpasses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus in terms of performance.

In addition to its aesthetics, the POCO X6 Pro packs a punch with a 64MP rear camera setup, 16MP front camera, 8GB or 12GB of RAM, and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. The device is fueled by a 5000mAh battery, supporting 67W fast charging.

The Xiaomi POCO X6 Pro impresses with its stunning design, powerful performance, and a host of appealing features. While lacking an official IP rating and being a bit heavier than some competitors, it offers a delightful user experience.
